Fuel Prices Rocket Up

heres an idea about gas prices...i wish americans would just quit bitching and just accept it...gas prices have always been this high and even higher in other places...so people just need to either buy more gas efficient vehicles, quit running around and just stay home

So has anyone besides me sent emails voicing their concerns over prices.
And Oakland Raider. Yeah they may have in other places. Why gripe. Would you like to work for mininum wage and have to pay half your check just to go to and from work. Why do you work just to drive to and from work?
Sure stay home sounds fine. But you still have to travel to work. Or do you work.
And not everyone lives right near their job.
Fuel efficient vehicles. Ok who is gonna be able to invest in one. Can't afford that, cause you have to pay for fuel.
No one seen this coming. You don't think if they did many would of resorted back to the most efficient vehicles they could.
Problem is no one is voicing their opinions to those at the top.
Well the links are there. Just go down and find the emails and say what you think. These people are susppose to work for the good of the people they serve are they not. So why not let them know your opinions and concerns. There is a thing called the freedom of speech and also the freedom of information act. We the people have a right to ask and question and to know the truth at all levels of our government, if not, then how are we any better than the governments we condemn as being unjust.
To me it isn't all just Bush but all those who are gaining off of this.
And there is many.
I think were being took and gouched to death. No respect to the working people of this country.
Now if you can honestly say that we just need to shut up. I want to know who supplies your fuel and how much you make an hour.
Because your one of the few i am not hearing gripe over this.
Esp. here when we are not even into big time driving season yet. Vacation time. So we've not touched where the price may go.

Until we are out of a country we went into and now can't get out of, and until these ridiculous fuel prices are stopped.

Cause Reagan shot down the "gas guzzler tax" that would have weaned us from so much oil and it is a free country? I can post it and you don't have to read the ones from Spuds-I can go on for quite some time about every rich politician from Texas and Yale , if you are wanting something to read. well when you start paying my gas bill is when I will not complain. My JOB requires me to run around (I don't do much of that otherwise) I DO have a fuel efficient car, and it still makes a difference. They may have been higher other places, other places also have better health care for the whole nation. They, I would think, also complain when you see a range of 29-50 % increases in your fuel costs. You can't compare the dynamic of one country to another unless they have the same dynamic, same economy, same government. Apples and Oranges....

sent mine just now, I hope that everyone will take the time and voice their opinion, it is time that we stop complaining and do something about it.

Guys i don't mean to be rude. But come on now. All these stupid reasons for fuel going up.
And the last one was what spring break. But that isn't price gouching.
Im just tired of seeing our work force pay for something that is not right.
Honestly i try not to say a lot about Bush, because he is our President and Leader.
But the scandals are beginning to look a lot worse. Purposely leaking out news on Iraq.
We have listened to him and been i think more than patient over Iraq.
We were to be there how long? And now how long have we been there and when will we get out. He nor his advisors have a clue.
Were to dependent on oil. Well where the heck did he live and come from oil country. And his family is in the business. It took him 40 years to figure that out?
I mean gee whiz.
My only real concern is we are susppose to have all those who care about the working people and our economy.
Dem's and Rep's and no one is doing a thing about these ridiculous fuel prices, which are pushing every thing else up with them.
How are our elderly on fixed incomes and those working on minimum wage to live or even survive. We want you to work, but you may have to walk to work. And yes that was sarcasim.
But it is beginning to sound like the truth.
And quite honestly im just tired of it myself.
Were suppose to be a world leader. Time we got back to doing that in a lot of areas. Looking out for our work force and economy is two areas that need addressing.

Althought I wouldnt have said as harsh as oakland raiders, he does have a very good point. We have been spoiled in America as far as the fuel prices go. I think its like $5 a liter in Brittain and like $8 a gallon in Australia and other places. Thats why all their cars are about the size of our lawnmowers.
